KD surprises fans 3 on 3 Hoopfest
Nike Basketball Instagram Story

I teamed up with Nike Basketball and Vancouver-based agency Victory, to launch Kevin Durant’s KD10 shoe at the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world.

I was tasked with producing a 60-second Instagram story that was shared only hours after the event.

The turnaround on this project was insane. Approximately 10:45 p.m. Thursday night, get the call to fly to Spokane.

Friday, assemble team, gather gear and fly out.

Saturday, scout, strategize and film all day at the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament.

Sunday, meet with Nike team + agency.
From the moment KD gets off the plane - to the moment he leaves, film the most popular basketball player on the planet as he surprises thousands of hoop fans.
Then, deliver a branded story…
to be posted on the Nike Basketball IG.

For the most identifiable brand in the world.

That… is pressure.
